The new project CircularInvest, approved under the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI), is designed to help circular projects become investment-ready and access funding. This will enhance their chances of having a greater impact on sustainability through the deployment of the circular economy.
Through CircularInvest’s services, project promoters will be able to access free, tailored mentoring support delivered by experts. This will improve the project’s circularity, provide a business plan and guide the promoters through the process of securing funding. They will also have the opportunity to take part in knowledge transfer and networking events and a Community of Practice, and join online and live pitch sessions with potential investors.
CircularInvest’s first online event on 17 May 2023 at 11:00 CEST is “Making Your Project Investment-Ready – Project Pitching Session”. It provides a snapshot of CircularInvest’s free services and details on the first call for expressions of interest through which circular project promoters can apply to access these services.
The event will also give participants the opportunity to get acquainted with one of CircularInvest’s services and prepare them to pitch their circular economy projects to investors.
