RÉGAL Normandie is organising the Normandy Conference on the fight against food waste (Assises normandes de lutte contre le gaspillage alimentaire).
This event will bring together professionals from the Normandy food chain. There will be meetings, feedback and the chance to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the RÉGAL Normandie network.
The programme includes a plenary session on how to reduce food waste by 50% by 2030 and workshops on a decade of progress in Norman public catering facilities, agricultural donations and household initiatives, all aimed at reducing food waste and fostering sustainable practices. There will be a session on using the parts of fruit and vegetables which are usually thrown out, interactive discussions on food waste, and an exploration of tools designed to promote awareness of food waste.
The event will take place from 21 to 22 November from 09:00 to 16:30 CET.
