Circular Week 2024 is a series of events and initiatives dedicated to the circular economy and sustainable development. It will take place in Poland and Romania during the week of 21-25 October.

Each day has a theme:

  • Wednesday: European Sustainability Congress 2024 (the main event of the week!)
  • Thursday: Circular Construction Day
  • Friday: Extended Producer Responsibility

The list of Circular Week 2024 events is available on the agenda: they range from packaging innovations to circular buildings and cities. Some are online, some are in-person and some are hybrid – see the event description to check the format. The events will be in *** and you can register for individual sessions.

The European Sustainability Congress 2024 will take place on 23 October in Poland’s National Library. It will be the focal point of Circular Week and is one of the biggest international events on the circular economy and sustainable development. The Congress aims to promote the idea of a circular economy, support sustainable business models and establish cooperation between interested stakeholders.

There is a rich programme of sessions, such as:

  • Encouraging circular transition: managing the change,
  • European and Polish perspective on the circular transition,
  • Consumers’ carbon footprint: insights from science, business and media,
  • A healthy environment for a healthy life.

The main Congress sessions will be in English, with a side event on Get into the loop in Polish.
