Two projects in one event: come and find out more about circular procurement!
This event will launch the C-PRONE project and introduce the Circular Minds project, both of which have a focus on advancing circular procurement.
Circular Minds (Circular Mindset for Change) is an Interreg project running from April 2024 to June 2028. It seeks to drive change by embedding circular economy principles into regional governance and public procurement. By scaling up circular practices, the project aims to reduce resource consumption, minimise waste and promote sustainable material use, contributing to better resource management and environmental health. Through capacity building, Circular Minds will equip public authorities and stakeholders with tools and knowledge to implement circular procurement. This event will introduce the Circular Minds project, outlining key objectives, activities and the state of play.
This event will also launch the C-PRONE initiative. C-PRONE, short for Circular Procurement Network, is designed to enable and facilitate dialogue among networks, initiatives and key actors in circular procurement. Countries, regions and cities across Europe are experimenting with circular procurement, but there is no overarching platform or network to bridge initiatives and enable meaningful dialogue. C-PRONE fills this gap by creating a space for exchanging insights and best practices.
This event is part of the European Week of Regions and Cities. It will take place online on 31 October at 11:00 – 12:00 CEST. It will be in English.
