This event is organised by InvestCEC which is developing a replicable model for the initiation of circular economy projects in cities and regions with a view to improving collaboration between entrepreneurs, investors and policy makers. It’s one of a group of projects under the umbrella of the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) which supports Europe’s circular economy at local and regional level. 

The webinar will delve into strategies for launching and managing an investment fund dedicated to circular economy initiatives, focusing on insights from InvestCEC, Venionaire and exelixis capital AG. It will explore the financial barriers within the circular economy and strategies to overcome them.

Agenda highlights:

  • Berthold Baurek-Karlic (Venionaire Capital AG): Insights from Venionaire Capital on strategies for launching and managing an investment fund dedicated to circular economy initiatives, focusing on the InvestCEC case
  • Guenther Dobrauz-Saldapenna (exelixis capital AG): What is the circular economy, how to spot it and invest in it
  • Emma Pipó Ollé (Inveniam Group): Insights from the BioBoost project: Accelerating and financing the bioeconomy in Catalunya.

The webinar will wrap up with a discussion between speakers and attendees.
