The World Circular Economy Forum 2025 (WCEF2025) will take place in South America. It will explore the potential of tropical solutions for sustainable growth, the power of regeneration and bioeconomy strategies, along with how the production sector is driving the transition toward a circular economy. The forum will also address key topics relevant to Latin America and the world.
On 13–14 May, there will be four plenaries and 12 parallel sessions. The plenaries will explore cross-cutting issues and set the scene for a circular economic model that delivers well-being for all within nature’s carrying capacity. The parallel sessions will bring the themes of each session to life through inspiring, practical and scalable examples of the circular economy in action. The parallel sessions will be divided into four tracks: nature, materials, people and business.
On 15–16 May, accelerator sessions organised by WCEF2025 collaborators will look at ways and means of delivering a circular transition. These sessions are a great chance to enhance audience engagement and go into detail on specific topics.
There will be a networking area, an event application and an expo. The expo is a curated space where people attending the forum can engage with innovative and inspiring circular economy solutions demonstrated by leading organisations and businesses from around the world.
WCEF2025 will take place at Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. It will be livestreamed, open to all and free of charge, although attendance in person is by invitation only. Accelerator sessions will be held online and around the globe, and the programme for them will be published by April 2025.
