CircularInvest is a Project Development Assistance project funded by the EU to assist the Circular Cities and Regions Initiative (CCRI) and facilitate the implementation of the Circular Economy Action Plan.
Its final event will bring together investors, circular entrepreneurs, city and regional representatives, policymakers and incubators to focus on one central question: what is still preventing circular businesses from scaling in Europe — and what practical changes are needed to close the gap?
The programme will combine keynote discussions, startup case studies, an interactive workshop and cross-sector dialogue. Sessions will explore how circular businesses navigate investment and regulation, how investors assess circular business models, and how policy frameworks can better support long-term circular growth.
A panel will also examine the role of cities and regions in enabling circular innovation through procurement, local policy, infrastructure and ecosystem support.
In the afternoon, participants will take part in a collaborative workshop focused on investment readiness, investor expectations and policy solutions for unlocking circular investment at scale. The event will conclude with a shared reflection session and networking reception.
The CircularInvest final event aims to create a practical space for dialogue between stakeholders working across finance, policy, entrepreneurship, and local government — helping turn circular economy ambition into scalable action.
The event will take place in person at 09:00-16:30 CEST on 15 October. See the programme and register.
