The Built Environment Series is hosted by Circular Buildings Coalition partners Arup, Ellen MacArthur Foundation and Metabolic.
This all-day event on 17 April (09:00 – 18:30 CEST) will feature four expert-led sessions, each focusing on different aspects of how circular economy principles – regenerative design, business cases, circular scenarios and blueprints for solutions – can ensure that the built environment remains within planetary boundaries.
The sessions will explore:
- A more resilient future: moving beyond Net Zero towards regenerative design
- Circular buildings toolkit
- Four scenarios towards a circular built environment and blueprints to get there
- Quantifying the economic potential of a nature-positive and circular built environment – report launch: Building prosperity
The event will take place at the Solvay Library in Brussels. It is geared towards anyone involved in the built environment sector, from architects and builders to policymakers and sustainability advocates, and will offer valuable insights, innovative solutions and networking opportunities to advance the transition towards a more sustainable and circular built environment.
This is a World Circular Economy Forum 2024 accelerator session.
