INTPA B2
Tue, 11/03/2025 – 09:35
As part of the EU-LAC Global Gateway Investment Agenda (GGIA), the European Commission’s Directorate-General for International Partnerships (DG INTPA) is working on an investment-oriented, multi-partner initiative to support the development of circular economy value chains in Latin America and the Caribbean.
This initiative will be presented to and discussed with European industry at a meeting of the Working Group on Circular Economy in Latin America and the Caribbean. The initiative encompasses projects addressing investment gaps in the region with the goal of mobilising both private capital and public funding. It will bring together the European private sector, the EU Member States, the European Investment Bank and financial institutions and will cooperate closely with LAC multilateral and private banks.
With a view to creating strategic value chains, future investments will integrate circular product design solutions for the reuse, recycling, recovery and use of secondary materials, as well as water treatment.
This meeting will look at Mexico and Guatemala.
This event will take place during the 3rd EU Global Gateway Overview Meeting at 11:00 to 12:45 CEST on 1 April in Brussels at the Borschette Congress Centre, rue Froissart 36 (room 4A). You can attend in person or remotely. Representatives of EU institutions, EU Member States, financial institutions, cooperation agencies, export credit agencies and European companies will be invited to attend the workshop.
